Shalom y'all!
Just wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves, our passion, our mission, and our hearts here at Magnolia Ministries. We are followers of Christ and I am just a Cajun girl at heart. Some of my spiritual gifts are teaching the bible and prayer, (intercessory prayer, petitionary prayer, etc.). I love praying alone with my Heavenly Father and interceding for others. Prayer with God is, in my opinion, the most sacred time of a Christian’s life, and is a very powerful weapon! (Prayer is also my love language - it’s one of the ways we communicate with God and how He may choose to communicate with us). I was inspired by Jesus, who often went away to pray to the Father (Luke 5:16). I am an occasional guest blogger for a friend/mentor's website, and when I am not teaching women's bible studies, mentoring, or counseling other women, I study! I am a big proponent of higher education and decided to pursue an Associate's Degree in Divinity with a specialty in Women’s ministry. I am a board-certified biblical counselor and Christian Life mentor. I am also a local licensed wedding officiant. My education and experience are woven through several areas including but not limited to co-dependency, healing from narcissistic relationships, food addictions, self-worth, abandonment/rejection, or those who struggle with fear/anger issues, and setting healthy boundaries. I can also guide you in some aspects of your health and nutrition concerns, and the emotional effects of chronic illness. I am an adult child of emotionally unavailable parents. I am also an adopted child and understand the complexities of adoption/identity issues. I have mentored women recovering from divorce, and navigating single parenting.  I consider it a privilege to help you walk in faith and the truth of God as you discover your identity in Christ. I have experience with prodigal children and facilitate prayer and support groups in addition to women's bible studies. We do believe that the Bible is still relevant today and have experienced God's healing in not just our lives, but others I have had the privilege of mentoring. I am committed to helping you set attainable goals in almost every area of your life. I am honored to walk alongside you as we work together with God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit to overcome or be set free from hurts, habits, and hang-ups! The other part of Magnolia Ministries is a Godly man who shares so generously with his time and talents helping make this all come together. He is my brilliant, supportive, wonderful, loving, & godly husband who is the CTO and co-founder of Magnolia Ministries. I couldn’t do this without God and my husband. We are very blessed!

Our beliefs: we are called together as the body of Christ. (1 Corin. 12:27) We are not created to do life alone, especially during our Christian walk. Even though God has a plan that is unique to each one of us, we can learn and grow spiritually together and individually, honoring God above all others because God is the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2) While we are blessed to have others join us in carrying our cross, we remain dependent on God because apart from Him we can do nothing. (John 15:5). We do believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. God is one being that exists as three distinct persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, but they are also separate individuals. (Council of Nicea I).

Our mission: to spread the gospel! (Matt. 28:19) Continuing to execute the Great Commission, reaching those in need of hope, praying for the lost souls, and continuing to share the truth of God's Word with everyone. I have a servant's heart and am eager to help others especially those who struggle with autoimmune and chronic illnesses, and those who may struggle in their spiritual journey with understanding the Word of God and their identity in Christ. By utilizing online platforms, even those who may have physical, locational, and financial challenges, can still hear or experience the gospel from the comfort of their own homes, or in the palm of their hands with a phone! Each session is individually tailored to your specific needs. We can perform a water baptism at your location of choice (mileage limitations apply!).

Our heart: serving God and His Kingdom! (Matt 6:33) As I mentioned, I enjoy teaching bible studies related to God, the life of Jesus Christ, and how He is the Living Word, and all
things are created through Him (John 1:1-5). Even though He died for us over 2000 years ago, He is still alive and working in our lives every day. (John 3:16-17). We also continue to love our neighbors, in the kingdom of God through service to others, leadership, biblical guidance, and mentoring. We currently provide services for females only.
